The Coton de Tulear breed of dog is a typical bichon type of dog with soft white fluffy fur. Coton is French for cotton which describes the cottony coat of this dog. Their long topcoat is more of a fluffy nature rather than silky and covers a thin slightly muscular body. New York City never ceases to amaze me. Last night there were over 100,000 people on The Great Lawn, listening to a spectacular free concert by the New York Philharmonic. The two little white dogs and I strolled over to listen. We walked along the edge of the vast crowd to the tune of Stars and Stripes Forever. Everyone was having a fabulous time. A blanket of humanity covered the lawn all the way up to Belvedere Castle. As we turned to go, the fireworks started and Bill and Jake went nuts.
