    Ryan Matthews, the owner and head trainer of Off Leash Dog Training in Loveland, has been charged with aggravated cruelty to animals for beating a dog. A warrant was issued for Matthews Thursday and he was arrested Saturday, according to the Larimer Humane Society. Aggravated cruelty to animals is a Class 6 felony, punishable by up to 18 months in prison and a $100,000 fine. The Humane Society, which announced the arrest Monday, received a complaint on July 17 of a dog being beaten at 601 E. Eisenhower Blvd., Off Leash Dog Training's Loveland location.
