A fairly quiet week in dog news this week. The holiday weekend I think must have cut down on the amount of information that was being reported. But some interesting stuff nonetheless. A call from the London Telegraph to repeal the UK's Dangerous Dogs Act that bans 4 breeds of dogs. All animal welfare organizations, veterinary professionals and local authorities are against the ban, which has resulted in a 43% increase in dog bites over the past 5 years and an estimated 10 million pounds (roughly $17 million) in enforcement costs over the past 3 years.
